Caleb

hoping my brothers MRI goes good, I feel you bro I just had to go through it too!

Caleb is doing good!

Dear lord, please help caleb keep taking full bottles so we can bring him home soon. Please help him to continue to do well and keep his i.v. Burn healing good. Thank you for being such an amazing god and showing our boys your great love!

Jonah

Getting ready to go to my MRI to make sure everything is going good still.
Jonah has a hernia in his groin he will more than likely have to have a small surgery before he comes home, please pray for my baby!

Dear lord, please help jonahs hernia get better before the time comes where he is ready to come home. Please help him learn how to take his bottle as well and keep growing. We love you so much and thank you for giving us this sweet little boy!

12/24/11

The boys are doing good. Caleb needs to finish his bottle every time for 48 hours and then we can hopefully take him home. Jonah is still breathing really fast, and he has been on compressed feedings over a half hour due to a lot of alarms and maybe even reflux. Calebs i.v. burn is looking great and is still on ellacare formula due to not being able to digest the proteins very well.

May god rest his healing hands upon both of you, he has made you boys stronger everyday, and he continues to heal you both. Thank you lord for our two amazing little fighters!
We love you caleb and jonah!

12/15/2011

We are 37 weeks!

The boys were doing good last night. Caleb is still trying to bottle feed. He usually eats about half of the bottle then needs the rest put in his feeding tube. His I.V. burn is starting to look better. He is now 5lbs 13oz and 17.8in and Jonah is now 4lbs and 13oz 17in. What BIG BOYS!!! Jonah is still having troubles with breathing. Basically, he is not getting enough oxygen, BUT he is still off the CPAP and only on the nasal cannula. They are going to try a treatment where they give him a steroid twice a day through an oxygen mask. Lets PRAY that this helps his alarms!

Thank you Lord for our wonderful boys, they mean the world to us! Please lay your healing hands upon them and bring them home soon. We put all our trust in you Lord.  Amen
